The third quarter of 2021 saw significant activity in the geolocation games category in Central America. Here’s a closer look at the top five games: Pokémon GO, Jurassic World Alive, Tamadog - Puppy Pet Dog Games, The Walking Dead: Our World, and The Witcher: Monster Slayer.

Pokémon GO from Niantic, Inc. experienced a peak in weekly revenue at around $135K in mid-July, with subsequent fluctuations settling between $40K and $71K by the end of September. Weekly downloads peaked at approximately 151K during the same period, with active users reaching nearly 4.7M. Despite some declines, the game maintained a strong user base, ending the quarter with about 3.8M active users.

Jurassic World Alive by Jam City, Inc. saw its weekly revenue peak at around $6.6K in early July, with a low of about $3K towards the end of the quarter. Weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at around 8.5K in early September. Active users showed a gradual increase, peaking at approximately 25K in early September before ending the quarter at around 22K.

Tamadog - Puppy Pet Dog Games from Akita Limited Liability Company showed consistent revenue, averaging around $1K weekly. The Witcher: Monster Slayer from Spokko sp. z o.o. had its best revenue in late July at about $1.4K, with a decline to around $150 by the end of September. Downloads and active users saw a sharp decline after the initial release burst, with downloads dropping from 24K in late July to just over 100 by the end of September. Active users fell from around 15K to about 1.6K over the quarter.
